Reports have shown that single people today are more interested in committed relationships than in the past decade. The idea of sharing your life with someone in a meaningful, lasting relationship has found new appeal in a world of constant change.

Coincidentally, data also shows that commitment is directly correlated to home ownership.

FIfty-nine percent of recent home buyers were married couples, and nine percent were unmarried couples, according to the 2023 Report of Home Buyer and Seller Generational Trends by the National Association of Realtors. In recent years the highest share of unmarried couples buying a home were in the 22 to 30 age group.

But how can you know if you're ready to “settle down” into a committed relationship?
